Project Manager -- June/July 2017
Hippo Education is on a mission to change the way doctors learn. We make fun and effective medical education that keeps clinicians up-to-date and at their best. We are financially strong and continue to grow with new products and a team that has grown from 3 people in 2011 to more than 30 today. We’re a fun-loving and quick-to-laugh group that works very hard. Some of us work at the main office/studio in Los Angeles, some in Santa Barbara, and others work remotely around the country. We think this is a great place to work and we’re genuinely proud of the positive impact we have on doctors and their patients.
Here at Hippo, we know how to put the fun into complex, sometimes dry, medical concepts. We know how to create top-quality media and host it all on a range of increasingly complex tech platforms. What we’re missing is you to connect the parts together with your calm and steady project management skills.
You’ll be joining a group of highly motivated, hysterically funny people who aren’t always the best at organization. You’ll structure projects and help us meet timelines. Bring your tricks and tools, so we can achieve “best practice” within and between our various departments (mainly media production, education, marketing and sales). If you’re the person who the whole group expects will plan the vacation, do the split-the-check math (and maybe a crooked picture frame can make you extremely uncomfortable) you’re the person for us.
You will help us get things done “on time and under budget” by working closely and regularly with the department leads in production and reporting to the VP of Product.
Obsessed with coordinating teams, projects, and budgets, with undying love of gantt charts.
